This is the first free version of the app. As such there is limited functionality. There are may more ideas for future versions. The idea is that you will be sent regular motivational messages. You also have the "share quote" functionality available so that if you want you can forward inspirational messages to friends and loved ones.

Depression is a very real issue in today's world. Sometimes, someone you know might be suffering in silence. This app was created with those who care and want to share inspiration and motivation with others. Especially for those who need it most. The right message at the right time might just save a life.

Depending on the interest in the app, further functionality will be added and perhaps a monetised version in the future with a portion of proceeds going to registered charities dealing with mental illness and in particular depression. The funds would also be used to pay for the design, development and future enhancements of this app.

The initial app was based on the free YouTube tutorials provided by Build Apps with Paulo.

If this app makes just one person smile it was worth it.
